3 Ways to Evaluate Digital Health Solutions

This abstract has open access
Description of Session
Health systems managers need objective ways to evaluate digital health solutions and assess which solutions are worthy of investment, adoption, and promotion. In this hands-on session, we'll explain three different evaluation criteria, and walk participants through using each method to evaluate digital health solutions. - Digital Principles: Wayan Vota will show how IntraHealth International used the Digital Principles to evaluate iHIRS, its flagship HR system for health workers, and how others can use the Principles to evaluate their own systems. - DHIRT: Merrick Schaefer will show how USAID developed the Digital Health Investment Review Tool to guide donors in developing requests for solicitations, defining contract language, and evaluating proposals for grant funding and software procurement. - GGMM: Amanda BenDor will show how the Global Good Maturity Model can be used to identify areas where donors and implementers can make investments in global digital health goods to increase scale and impact.
