When and where is the 2019 Global Digital Health Forum?

The 2019 GDHF is located at the Bethesda North Marriott in Rockville, Maryland, and will be 3 days: December 9-11, 2019.

How can I get there?

By air:

  • Baltimore-Washington (BWI), 38 miles to venue
  • Dulles International (IAD): 27 miles to venue
  • Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA): 20 miles to venue

By train:

  • Union Station, Washington DC- can take a cab (approx. 24 miles) to the venue, or take the Red Line metro towards Shady Grove to White Flint Station

By metro:

  • White Flint, Red Line (a 3-minute walk to the venue)

By car:

For hotel guests, the overnight hotel parking rate is $15.00 per day; per car. Non-overnight guests must park their vehicles in the Conference Center garage and pay the hourly rate of $2.50/hr.

How much are tickets?

  • Regular Registration: $550 USD
  • LMIC: $300 USD
  • Single Day Ticket (can purchase for Dec 9, 10, or 11): $250 USD

What does the conference fee include?

  • Access to the conference (December 9-11, 2019), including breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on each conference day
  • An evening drinks reception (Appy Hour) on one night of the event
  • Access to any conference material provided through our Dryfta page

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

  • If you request a cancellation/refund before December 2, 2019, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you request a cancellation/refund after December 2, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Your registration fee can be transferred to a substitute attendee from the same organization- details are forthcoming.

Can I register to be a speaker?

How can I get a visa letter of invitation for the conference?

Please register for the conference; you will receive the visa template in your confirmation email. If you need a visa letter before registering, please email with the subject line "{Name}- GHDF19 Visa Letter."

Where can I apply for a travel scholarship?

Please click here to apply for a travel scholarship by August 31, 2019. We will begin notifying scholarship participants on a rolling basis starting September 1, 2019.
