Description of Session
The session will speak about the global developments in the space of digital health at a high level and how India is adopting digital health across the continuum of care. The session will include ; 1. Moderator : a policy maker ( myself , during my role as the advisor to the Union Health Minister, have been involved in drafting the national health policy and pushing the agenda of digital health in India, besides serving on the guidelines development group at the WHO for digital health and as a steering committee member of the Global Digital Health Index). Will start the discussion with the global developments that will shape / give directions to the digital health 2. We will have a panelist on fitness and gaming ( CEO of the leader company in this domain ) to discuss the role of wearables in advancing the case of digital health and its applicability in managing chronic diseases 3. A panelist ( CEO of a hospital chain working in chronic disease area ) on how hospitals are using digital tools or pre-operative and post operative care or remote care / healthcare at home 4. CEO of a company working in the pharmaceutical sector deploying digital Health solutions for compliance and medication adherance and for track and trace to ensure safety across the value / distribution chain 5. Senior team member of the healthcare related NGO working with various stakeholders on how s/he sees the role of tech integration across the continuum of care and what difference does it make to the healthcare delivery So , we will discuss the application and adoption of digital health across the continuum of care and across the Industry and how does the scene look like in 2020 and beyond
