Dr. Garrett Mehl is a Scientist leading research and innovation on digital health at WHO and the UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/WHO/World Bank HRP Special Research Programme. He coordinated the first WHO guidelines on digital health, co-leads the Digital Health and Interoperability Working Group coordinating dialogue, co-development and use of global goods for digital health; is responsible for the WHO Classifications on Digital Health Interventions, co-established the Digital Health Atlas (www.digitalhealthatlas.org), and initiated digitalizing WHO Guidelines as "digital accelerator kits." He has a PhD. from Johns Hopkins University; and has lived and worked on health and development in LMICs for over 20 years.
