Digital Health for Health Systems Managers Linden Oak Panel
Dec 10, 2019 12:00 Noon - 01:15 PM(America/New_York)
20191210T1200 20191210T1315 America/New_York Agile Tech For Fragile Contexts: Scaling Digital Health Solutions in Complex Environments

In challenging and fragile contexts, scaling up digital health solutions has depended heavily on private funding and short-term investments, often failing to build adequate capacity locally to enable digital solutions to be brought to scale. Making technology solutions stick in fragile contexts and hard-to-reach locations is further complicated by human resource scarcity, low capacity and retention. World Vision has partnered with Ministry of Health and other key partners to scale up through local service providers. The solutions designed enable scale up through agile technologies, simplified data use procedures, and long-term investments to strengthen district information systems in challenging settings. In this panel we will hear from Ministry of health representatives and WV partner staff, to discuss the scope and utilisation of technologies for solving key issues in supply chain and health systems management in fragile and complex locations.
