Dominic S. Haazen is a Lead Health Policy Specialist in the Health Global Practice, where he is has worked in 65 developing countries across 5 of the 6 World Bank regions. He is an expert in the areas of health information systems/e-Health, emergency medical services, health financing, and health system management. Prior to joining the Bank in 1998, he worked as a private consultant and held senior positions in the British Columbia Ministry of Health, including CEO of the British Columbia Ambulance Service. He holds B.Sc. (Mathematics/Computer Science) and MPA degrees and is a CPA (Canada).
