Description of Session
Many countries are eager to adopt information and communications technology for healthcare but are lost on how to go about doing so. This lab session will share theory and practice of IT governance as applied to national digital health program management. It will share the AeHIN National Capacity-building Roadmap, its theoretical basis, and how it was applied in the Philippines, The lab facilitator will also share experience applying IT governance in private sector. Session will include challenges that can be encountered in implementing IT governance and how these could be addressed.
