GETTING THERE

When and where is the 2019 Global Digital Health Forum?

The 2019 GDHF is located at the Bethesda North Marriott in Rockville, Maryland, and will be 3 days: December 9-11, 2019.

How can I get there?

By air:

• Baltimore-Washington (BWI), 38 miles to venue
• Dulles International (IAD): 27 miles to venue
• Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA): 20 miles to venue

By train:

• Union Station, Washington DC- can take a cab (approx. 24 miles) to the venue, or take the Red Line metro towards Shady Grove to White Flint Station

By metro:

• White Flint, Red Line (a 3-minute walk to the venue)

By car:

For hotel guests, the overnight hotel parking rate is $15.00 per day; per car. Non-overnight guests must park their vehicles in the Conference Center garage and pay the hourly rate of $2.50/hr.

PARTICIPATION

Where do I register/buy tickets?

Ticket sales are now closed.

What does the conference fee include?

• Access to the conference (December 9-11, 2019), including breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on each conference day
• An evening drinks reception (Appy Hour) on one night of the event
• Access to any conference material provided through our Dryfta page

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

• If you request a cancellation/refund before December 2, 2019, you will receive a full refund.
• If you request a cancellation/refund after December 2, 2019 you will not be eligible for a refund.
• Your registration fee can be transferred to a substitute attendee from the same organization- details are forthcoming.

Can I register to be a speaker?

Sorry, the window for abstract submissions closed on July 8, 2019.

How can I get a visa letter of invitation for the conference?

The window for travel scholarship applications is now closed, awardees will be notified on a rolling basis

ACCOMMODATIONS

Where can I stay for the conference?

Our room block at the Bethesda North Marriott is currently full. You may reserve in our overflow block at the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville:- book online here or call: (301) 468-1100. You can tell them you are booking with the Global Digital Health Network. Rate is $179/night, check in 12/8 and out on 12/12, shuttle to/from the venue all three days.
